Kart racing has been around since the 1950’s, and has grown from kiddie kart racing in parking lots to the various types of high tech racing karts you see today. Many of the superstars in Motorsports Racing got their start racing karts- Kyle Larson, Jeff Gordon, Tony Stewart, Buddy Rice, Kevin Harvick, to name a few. Several local sprint car, midget and modified stars started their careers at AKA.
